Had an amazing week at , presenting my first pre conference with Dawn Lee (right) and Pam Chao (not pictured). Portland was a fun city to explore and I got to meet so many wonderful people! I’m looking forward to attending again and have so many ideas for future sessions!

For me, is about radical acts of AND . It's easy to get lost in the hurt and pain that oppression causes, which feeds into the dogmatic ideology of "call out culture" or "cancel culture." However, when we lose sight of people's humanity, we give up hope that they (and by extension, the world) can change. Making sure that I do my own self-healing work so that I can keep hope alive is absolutely necessary so that I can continue to approach my work with .
