Basia Delawska-Elliott has served at Providence for almost 30 years.

As a medical librarian, she has seen her field evolve from faxed articles and mailed discs to instant access to the latest evidence.

The collaborative nature of librarianship, combined with a deep commitment to sharing knowledge, means Providence patients benefit directly from Basia’s research expertise.

Providence Portland mental health associate Bruce Bonnell has served our community for 45 years, and he’s not retiring any time soon.

Throughout the years and changes in patient complexities and treatment options, Bruce has focused on respect: “I try to treat my patients as respectfully as I can, I listen to their needs and concerns. When the patients feel respected, they tend to be respectful back.”
