I read this article and found that it mirrors many things The Link was founded on….inspiration. connection and learning something new. I have also found that getting women together gives them permission to think their thoughts are ok and not feel alone! The article gets there eventually….Saying that the average woman needs to hear the words “equal pay”, “invisible labor” and “angel investors” spoken out loud and echoed again and again before she gets the courage to say them herself. Perhaps - especially if and when such conferences include men – the conversation might evolve from an echo chamber to a real dialogue about big shifts. I agree that without the men understanding the issues and embracing them, things will never change.
