Butters' Corgi Adventure

It's with great sorrow that Butters crossed over the rainbow today. He was adopted on New Year's Eve, December 31st, 2013. He turned 13 this month, on Valentine's Day. As a cancer survivor, he beat all odds to live 4 more years despite his original prognosis of 2 months.

Butters had also fulfilled many of his bucket list, including witnessing both the Lunar and Solar Eclipses, climbed Angel Rest among many hikes, snowshoeing on Mount Hood, plus bar hopping & Wine Tasting.

Butters will always be remembered as the old man on the front porch, telling his visiting friends to behave themselves when they get rowdy. He's the boss, and wasn't afraid to tell others so.

In his last moment, Butters was a still fighter til the very end. Only when I told him it's okay to go, did his heart finally slowed.

He passed away at 8:55 am, Saturday, February 22nd. This was the last picture taken, 21 hours before his passing.
