A wonderful, early-20th-century enameled spinner charm, modeled in 14k yellow gold, whose central disc spins freely inside a stirrup-shaped frame. This little disc is decorated with bright red guilloche enamel. Gold letters from the phrase "ich liebe dich" appear on either side of the disc, and when it spins, an optical illusion makes the phrase visible. This tiny charm is a rarity! Condition is excellent with no losses. Ich liebe dich translates from the German to mean "I love you." Measures approx 7/10” x 1/2”. Poor Mouchette is open Wednesday-Saturday, from 12-5. A lovely pair of 1940s dangling earrings, modeled in 14k yellow gold and set with banded agate cabochons. These oval cabochons have traditional carved details that transform them into scarab beetle amulets. Our agate scarabs are transparent and beautifully figured with red, orange, and black horizontal bands— they are held securely in deep, smooth, footed bezels. They hang from kidney-shaped earwires, and each earwire is embellished with a puffy gold disc. We love the autumn color palate, here, the simple lines of the settings and the way they compliment the agates' complex figuring! Scarabs are a long standing symbol of transformation and rebirth.
