Brianna and Jack wanted to host their ceremony and reception dinner outdoors, on the gorgeously manicured grounds of Waverley Country Club. Inclement weather was a concern. So, our team advised them to host both events under a clear-top tent. These tents allow you and your guests to take in the beauty of the outdoor environment while remaining sheltered from the elements. However, this also meant that our team had to flip the ceremony tent into a dinner tent. We only had one hour while the couple and their guests enjoyed cocktails and a raw bar by the riverside. This British inspired wedding at the Sentinel Hotel last July, was beautifully brought to life by some of our most beloved vendors. With inspiration from both Portland (bride) and England (groom), some of our favorite nods to the groom’s British culture were the “Queen’s Table” (instead of King’s), their signature Pimm’s Cup Cocktail, & a candy table filled with British sweets brought directly over from England by the groom himself!
