JAMESON TABOR is a Singer, Songwriter and Producer from Portland, OR, now located in Los Angeles, CA.
Jameson Tabor grew up in the Pacific Northwest and honed his many talents through studying, teaching and performing in live theater. But it wasn't until 2015 that he revealed his secret passion for pop music. He moved to Los Angeles and began a new journey to find success in the recorded music industry. Through his struggle to find himself again, he shares truths about his rocky relationship with his wife Jenna, his fear of failure, his addiction to work, and his obsession with perfection. Now, with the release of his debut pop album, PURSUIT, he hopes to showcase his variety of skills. His music will reach deep into your heart to bring you hope and confidence. Jameosn’s music is about conquering fear and embarking on your own journey.
The style of Bluestep is inspired by Funk, R&B, Gospel, Rock and Dance music, while aiming to tell an emotional story at the core. There is always an air of confidence, through an honest and emotional darkness.
In mid-October 2015, Jameson began writing and recording his debut solo album, PURSUIT. In January of 2016, he had produced and released his first single and music video, Eyes Shut.

Jameson has also written and produced three original stage musicals, one of which received national recognition. He continues to arrange and compose original music for other artists, musicals, a ca****la groups, and choirs on demand. He has been a music director for several theater productions, directed a Gospel choir and band in the Portland area, and has mentored and trained over 500 adults and students through his private studio. Jameson has also been an actor since age 7.
Jameson Tabor is founder of the indie label JamTab Music, and music studio, The Tabor Studio. He also founded the University of Oregon Arts Collaboration, and the Westview Y-Chromatones a ca****la group. He performed with the two-time National Champion UO Gospel Singers in their victories in 2011 and 2012. He is a cm laude graduate in Theater Arts, Business Administration & Music from the University of Oregon.
