Did you know your metabolic health can affect your shoulder mobility? 🤔
Frozen shoulder isn’t always “just a shoulder problem.” Research shows that people with diabetes are nearly 4 times more likely to develop frozen shoulder compared to those without diabetes.
Researchers have also linked increased risk to factors like:
• Poor blood sugar control
• Obesity
• High blood pressure
• Chronic inflammation
Frozen shoulder can lead to significant pain, stiffness, loss of motion, sleep disruption, and difficulty with everyday activities, such as reaching overhead or getting dressed.
It’s another reminder that overall health and joint health are closely connected 💪
