Happy Mother's Day!

Today we honor the many ways people show up with love, care, and support in each other's lives. Whether you're celebrating, being celebrated, or simply enjoying a quiet day—we hope your day is filled with warmth and connection.

Last Thursday of every month is bingo day at 1200 Building! From 2:00pm to 3:30pm in the common area there will be bingo games, snacks, and refreshments for all residents to enjoy.

Want to expand your writing skills or collaborate with fellow creatives? Every Monday until April 27th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the 1200 Building, located at 1220 SW 12th Ave, Write Around Portland will hold a writing group. It is open to residents from all four buildings and will be facilitated by an instructor who will encourage creativity and assist with writing skills. No sign up is needed.

On April 23rd, the Scots Honor Guard will be honoring our veterans who served in the US Military between 1955 and 1975. The event will be held at 1200 Building located at 1220 SW 12th Ave, Portland, OR 97205. The event will present the veterans with the Bronze Eagle Lapel Pin, a bagpipe performance, and an open discussion of their experiences. We thank our veterans and hope those who can join will do so we can honor their service.

On April 17th at 1:00pm, Park Tower Apartments will be hosting the 2026 resource fair. This will be a tabling event where various resources around Portland will be available for residents to meet and learn about their services. Park Tower is located at 731 SW Salmon Street, Portland, OR 97205. Join the event to learn more about your community!

The monthly garden club meeting will continue April 2nd at 11am. The meeting is held at 1200 Building in their common area, if weather permits the meeting will be held in the garden. All garden club members are strongly encouraged to attend these meetings, anyone interested in joining is welcome.
