A couple weeks ago we found a used recumbent trike for Jake. Tonight we went to an adaptive cycling event at the raceway and Jake just finished lap 5. That’s 10 miles, and he would keep going if it wasn’t time to wrap up. This kid is unstoppable!

Jake has Cerebral Palsy, but he doesn't let it slow him down. He is a happy-go-lucky unstoppable daredevil of a 4 year old boy. At his young age, he has spent nearly 150 days in a hospital, has had 14 surgeries, and is currently attending physical therapy 3 days per week.
Unfortunately, Jake has some permanent contractures (muscle tightness) in his legs which limits his range of motion and causes him pain. He has surgery scheduled in St Louis that will eliminate those contractures and allow him to run & play with his friends without the constant pain in his legs. We are fundraising to help pay for his trip to St Louis, his new leg braces that will be needed after surgery, and his required 5-days-per-week physical therapy over the next 6 months. Insurance covers their fair share, but as you probably know, it doesn't cover everything and travel isn't cheap. Plane tickets, hotel stays, and rental cars add up quick. If you can help in any way we would be truly appreciative.
Much Love, Jake & Family
