Serenity is a Beast MODE 4x4 built by Storyteller Overland and available to rent through GoCamp.
It’s made for getting way out there—and still being comfortable when you do. It’s built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 144” chassis with serious off-road upgrades, solar power, heat and AC, and now even optional Starlink internet if you want to stay connected.
It seats and sleeps up to three adults (or two adults and two kids), has a full kitchen setup, indoor/outdoor shower, toilet, and space for all your gear. No generator needed—just quiet lithium power and everything you need to stay off-grid for days.
You can pick it up in Edgewood, WA—about 16 miles south of the Seattle airport.
Try it out for a weekend or take it on a longer trip. If you’ve been curious about a MODE van, this is a great way to see what it’s really like.

Spring is creeping up, and it’s the perfect time for a little getaway. If you’re looking for a trip that’s not just the usual national park loop, here are three lesser-known (but totally worth it) spots to check out:

1️⃣ Ocala National Forest, FL – Central Florida’s hidden gem, offering natural springs, crystal-clear swimming holes, and top-notch kayaking. With GoCamp vans available nearby, you can camp by the water and maybe even spot a manatee with your morning coffee 🌴

2️⃣ Great Sand Dunes, CO (but at night) – Sure, the dunes are cool during the day, but springtime nights here are next level. Hike under the stars, sled down moonlit slopes, and catch the Milky Way in all its glory ⛰️

3️⃣ The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, WA – Fields of tulips that look straight out of a painting, plus cool little farm stands, bakeries, and breweries to explore while you’re there 🌷

Where are you thinking about heading this spring? Drop your off-the-beaten-path recs below. ⬇️
