Why I don’t blindly follow every “standard” rule when breeding my French Bulldogs…

Because I’m a breeder with my own vision, not a copy and paste kennel 🤣

Some people in the dog world act like there’s only one acceptable look, one acceptable size, one acceptable coat, one acceptable build, one acceptable everything… and if your dogs don’t fit perfectly inside their little box, suddenly you’re the problem.

Meanwhile, I’m over here breeding what I personally love.

I respect preservation breeders. I respect people dedicated to strict standards. That absolutely has its place.

But I also believe dogs can still be healthy, functional, beautiful, stable, and well-bred without every single one looking identical.

I don’t want cookie-cutter dogs. I don’t want boring dogs that look like every other Frenchie flooding the internet right now.

I love substance, big personalities, beautiful coats, strong structure, balanced temperaments, pretty heads, and expression – dogs that stand out the second they walk into a room.

That’s my preference, and everybody is allowed to have their own.

Some people breed strictly for show, some for companionship, some for sport, some for color, and some for a certain style or build.

None of us owns the breed.

And I, for sure, don’t message people being hateful because their vision is different from mine. How small-minded do you have to be to think there’s only one right way to love a breed?

You like your type? Perfect. I like mine too 🤷🏻‍♀️.

At the end of the day, healthy, loved, ethically bred dogs with stable temperaments matter more to me than trying to please internet critics hiding behind keyboards.

The world would be really boring if every Frenchie looked exactly the same.

I want to be remembered as unforgettable ❤️🙏🏻❤️
