Sunday 3/23 we’re back at Mississippi’s for a special Hungry Hungry Hip-Hop memorializing the founder of our event Elan Eichler who tragically passed away one year ago. In his memory we are reviving the open mic freestyle cypher portion of the event for one night, and joining us will be former hungry host as well as alumni and long time supporter of the event 🤝 We’re also excited to welcome back whose return performance has been long overdue, as well as introduce a newcomer to our event. In addition we’ll be partnering with local all ages music resource who have commemorated Elan with their Youth Artist Directory in his name, donating significant proceeds to their cause as they work toward opening a new all ages music venue in Kenton, North Portland.
