Playing a special Valentine’s Day show with at The Fairview Grange in Tillamook. This is our third year, Amanda always does such an incredible job producing the show. “Love me, love me not” - we sing our love songs, and connect over the power and pain of love in all its forms. I’ll be playing solo, see you 2/14!
Had the time of my life last Saturday with my incredible band, and sharing the night with the wonderful and her band The Whylands.

In October of 2024, and I found ourselves on the same bill at the Showdown, both dressed in leopard print, both immediately reaching for a hug even though we’d just met. Now we’re playing with our full bands a week from today Sat 1/10!
Show starts at 8pm and we’re co-headlining, so no opener, Kathryn will be playing a full-length set with her band, and then my band will do the same. Excited to share this special night with you all! I haven’t played with my full band in Portland since February - Can’t wait to do the thing again with and !
and I are going to collaborate on a couple of songs and will be joining my band for one song on piano. ✨✨✨ see you Sat!
Trigger warning: It’s been five years and a few months since I tried to jump ship. Everything had piled up, I didn’t see a reason to stay. I wrote goodbyes to about 50 people and still didn’t think I had a reason.
My attempt failed, and a few good friends reminded me that music was one of my big reasons, and if I didn’t get it out of me I’d continue feeling sick. They were turning, away from the bu****it and towards the light. So I grabbed a hold and let them twirl me too. Now more of my music is in the world. I wouldn’t say everything’s all better, but I know it’s a gift to be here and I’m trying to make the most of it and enjoy being me. This delicate, unique blossom of life that I am. That each of us are.
In 2023 or so, I heard Annie Lennox’s version of this song by Neil Young in that movie American Beauty and started sobbing. I came around, thanks to people who saw the beauty inside of me and helped me draw it out. So I covered the song, producing it with - It’s available everywhere you can listen and I’d love you to hear it.
Stay. As long as you can. I do it now for the billions of years of life that had to be here in order for me to be. They survived, and so will I.
Mostly to drink tea, and cuddle puppies and kitties, and laugh with loved ones, and sing, and dance. And simply be. Despite everything.
The current cruelty in this world has really grabbed hold of me lately. I’m being extra tender, loving, and forgiving with myself as we navigate these times, and I hope you’re doing the same for your precious self. Much love to all. 💗
