Ghostland: Poetry Drink & Write On this night we are talking about the Co**se Poem; a mystically inviting, collaborative writing form that asks us to think outside of our own boxes and traditional writing styles. This is an all levels event, just bring yourself and a wild imagination - we'll provide the rest!

The topic is CRYPTIDS.

Here is a little bit of lore about one of the creatures we will be writing about: THE HYDRA

Hydra, in Greek legend, is a gigantic water-snake-like monster with nine heads (the number varies) one of which was immortal. The monster’s haunt was the marshes of Lerna, near Árgos, from which he periodically emerged to harry the people and livestock.

Lerna was reputed to be an entrance to THE UNDERWORLD. Anyone who attempted to behead the Hydra found that as soon as one head was cut off, two more heads would emerge from the fresh wound...
