Today we did a deep clean for a busy working mom of two who doesn’t have time to keep up on her house the way she should, or just simply doesn’t feel like it when she get home at the end of the day…….. ITS ME, IM HER 🙋🏻‍♀️

So many of my clients say “your house must be so clean”

Well I am here to tell you and show you, it’s NOT!

I have dishes in my sink, laundry piled high, clean laundry that needs to be folded and put away, unmade beds, dusty baseboards and unfinished projects, a fridge that should have been cleaned out months ago and an oven that has seen much better days. I have 2 dogs who don’t put their toys away or vacuum up their fur. I have 2 boys who think toothpaste looks better in the sink rather than on their tooth brush, and think their shoes belong wherever they fall. I have a husband who forgot he installed a new dishwasher 4 years ago and doesn’t know that we own a laundry basket. Then there is me… the one who dreads putting away laundry and loathes making beds.

My house isn’t perfect and it is not sparkling unless I make it sparkle, which unfortunately isn’t often.

So when people say “I am embarrassed of how my house looks” or “please don’t judge” just know that I cannot judge someone for not having the time to do what I don’t have the time to do for myself.. just know that when I leave your home I am going to my home and ignoring the messes I just spent the day cleaning elsewhere.

As my grandmother always tells me “A shoe maker has no shoes”

Just because I enjoy and have the time to make your house sparkle, doesn’t mean I enjoy or have the time to make mine shine.

We ALL need help 🫶🏼
