I rarely update here because I just get too busy actually running my business, but this is worth a post.

May the iconic James Earl Jones rest in peace! It was Star Wars that made me fall in love with the concept of telling stories with moving images... and while I didnt become a "filmmaker" I have built a career in this crazy world of video production.

As a kid, I moved to Pawling in Dutchess County NY a week before The Empire Strikes Back came out and soon after found out that the one and only Darth Vader lived nearby. For a young Geek who loved Star Wars, I was blown away to think that Darth Vader was essentially my neighbor (I was 8 and still associated movies and characters as being real).

I did have the chance to meet Mr. Jones a couple of times back in the day, and he was always such a kind man. I am saddend by his passing. For this Gen Xer, I feel as if I lost a part of my youth.

Mr. Jones, may you Rest in Peace!
