Rejoice Today ☀️☁️☀️☁️ Now available everywhere you listen to music!

Available to stream now wherever you listen to music! Rejoice Today and All My Days. If you’ve been to one of my live shows, you may remember that these are the two songs that book-end my performances.
They’re both songs that I love and mean a lot to me. I like to go back and find the first evidence of songs before I released them. So I’ve included here the first Voice Memos I had of each song and the scribbles in my notebooks where the songs began.
I didn’t realize that I had written Rejoice Today so long ago— November 2020!? But it makes total sense. I was looking for ways to make sense of what was going on in the world. And what did I land on? Rejoicing in the Lord!
All My Days was written a couple of days before my 39th birthday in August 2023. I remember thinking it would be fun to write a song for myself for my birthday— so I did! The song celebrates the blessings that God has given me and is a reminder to take none of it for granted.
I hope you will listen to and enjoy both of these songs as much as I enjoyed writing them!
A big thank you to TORS and Jake Stimson for producing these tracks with me! I couldn’t have done it without you and I’m proud of what we accomplished.
Also, a huge thank you to my gang who sang with me on Rejoice Today— Caleb and Veronica Stouter, Pat and Ashley Dawson, and Matt Hanchett. And to Caleb, who sang additional harmonies and recorded our gang vocal.
And last but not least, my gratitude to Jenny Sweeney knows no bounds! She is a dear friend and gifted artist and she created the beautiful artwork for the singles. Isn’t it stunning!? Head over to YouTube to see a time-lapse video of her creating it! Thank you, friend! Her reference photo I’ve included here as well—from my birthday hike last year.
Go forth and stream!!!!

Introducing Bluebird Songs! Custom Songs (by yours truly) to celebrate a special person or occasion!
I’ve been writing songs for eight years. In the margins. Literally during nap times and while making dinners, and when I was supposed to be homeschooling. Songwriting is where my passion and my skills (and obsession) intersect. What started as a hobby has evolved to include recording my own songs and releasing them out into the world. It’s become more intense (ehhem expensive) and I’ve been thinking of ways that I could support this ever growing side of my life.
While I love crafting songs from my own experiences, a huge part of the joy of songwriting is blessing other people. I love sending a song to someone and hearing how it made their day better or expressed what they were feeling but couldn’t put into words.
I am now writing custom songs to help you celebrate a special person or your special event. You know…that person who has everything… except a custom song!
I can write songs for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, engagements, weddings, or any milestone! Or just for a special person—because telling people how we feel should be a priority. 😊
While I’m getting started, I’d love to offer a special introductory rate to anyone who’s willing to walk through the process with me of writing a custom song. You’d be helping me establish my process and business practices and you get an awesome song at the end of it. If you’re interested, please send me a DM. I’d love to get started.
More on the name, Bluebird Songs later. ❤️
Vulnerable talk ahead. And a song in which I’m talking to myself.
To many people (even those who know me well) I probably seem like a fairly confident person. And in some ways I am! I have become very comfortable in my skin as I’ve grown older. And secure in who God made me to be. But I also have this very unfortunate habit of getting my feelings hurt easily. I’m a little insecure in some areas. Sometimes, it’s just a perceived slight from someone that sends me into a tailspin. Sometimes there’s a little justification to my getting hurt. But what I’ve had to learn over time is what to do with these hurts.
So, I’ve landed on this. Cry a minute, get some perspective, pray a little, forgive a person and let it go. In other words…Stay Soft.
This song has been ruminating in my subconscious for a while, and I finally wrote it. It’s just a rough demo made in my bedroom (I had fun improvising the violin part!) but I hope if you’re tempted to get hard in this harsh world, you’d listen to the song and reconsider. There’s strength in being soft. ❤️

2025
What a good year. I tend to focus on all I didn’t accomplish, but me from a few years ago would be super proud of 2025 me for putting aside my fears and pursing dreams! Played a handful of gigs. Released 2 songs! Wrote a bunch. Served at church doing something I love. Met some new people. Dreamed new dreams. And all while educating my children and loving (and feeding) my family. Imperfectly, for sure. But I’m learning that progress truly is better than perfection. To do the next thing in love and faith is far superior to doing nothing out of fear. To be present in the moment is to sow seeds that will grow into something beautiful someday. So I have a handful of goals for 2026, but I hope I can look back a year from now and be grateful for the lows the highs and the in between. It has all passed through the hands of my Lord before coming to me. I’ve been blessed all my days.
Merry Christmas, friends. ❤️🎄🎁 Didn’t think I was going to make it through that Scripture reading. 😭 Christmas Eve at Calvary Chapel of the Hudson Valley.

Just a new picture of my face. 😊 Happy November!
I decided to try to learn a worship song today! Remember, I’m a beginner on the piano but it helps that I know what notes are in the chords and what inversions are. 🤣
