I swear it’s my final post about running solo (but will never stop talking about it 👀)!

I went into this thing thinking i had a lot of solutions to the expected problems that would show up, but very quickly realized how naive i was. Naive, about all of it really. From the difficultly, the pain, and thinking “it’ll be similar to the relay”, which it was not at all. I also underestimated the amount of love, support, and community i’d feel.

The beauty of it all to me was just how in union you were with the other runners, support crews, and especially my own crew, who i am eternally grateful for, and to whom i owe my finish to. We ran the sun awake and ran the moon to sleep and there are many many memories and miles that will always be close to my heart.

There is no way i can articulate it all into words, because there are so many feelings/emotions were words fail to encompass the energy i felt in body & mind. Thank you tho to everyone who made this journey what it is. Thank you for the conversations, thank you for the miles, thank you for the love, and thank you for the facetimes, phones calls, and messages that kept me powering on when Day 03 happened (we don’t talk much about Day 03).

Finally thank you crew, like i said without you there is no LA Start line and especially no LV Finish line.

🌵TSP SOLO’26: February Recap
So many good miles this month with friends and my self! Really tested the mental limits on the treadmill and realized this weekend just how bad i’m hankering for that good Spring sunshine that’s coming. Also stoked to have finally reached my first 100+ mile week of training (103 total).

With February in the books, now we’re headed into March, which is RACE MONTH, and all the details are getting locked down. Excited for the adventures ahead!

🗽2025 NYC Marathon and marathon #03 in the books!! The best marathon in the best city in the world! and we locked it down with 3/3 sub-3 marathons (2:55:54 this year)!!

What really made yesterday and this whole weekend extra special was getting the chance to combine my two loves, running & illustration together, and getting to collab with the NYC running community! Thank you to and for giving me the chance to illustrate for ya! Getting to see the designs in Time Square was incredible and racing by WFRC cheer zone on race day with a crowd of shirt designs gave me a much needed jolt! Thank you to the NYC running community for always coming together to create one of the most special days of the year!

And as always much love to for bringing all that Queens energy right before Queensboro Bridge! Y’all are a true showcase to what it means to be in community! Special shoutout to my day-1 race partner who i’ve raced next to for the last 2-3 years and always makes the start line calm, collected and locked in on getting the goals done!

Now i’m gonna spend the rest of the day soaking my feet and zoning out. 🧘‍♂️
