Output shafts, earlier versions they say are made of softer materials. Towards the end of the 90s the shafts were made of much harder materials.
The shaft on the left is billet or m300 type material, dont remeber. Right was the stock one I took out.
Zoom in just ahead of where the driveshaft yoke spine ends. You can see where the file scratched one and marked the other.
Want to say ebay and $100. Kind of had to buy it that cheap. Input about story.

If you have the deep aluminum pan do yourself a favor and make a couple clips to hold the filter in place.
I never cared for it how mine did, may have been how mine was cast. Have heard from many they had zero issue. Then again ignorance is bliss or something like that and I don’t know what they are trying to say about bliss or ignorance.
Stick your camera in the drain plug hole and you may or may not chamber your mind.

I went to a new stock style pan (not shown)with a drain plug a bubble down for the pickup tube(as shown).
