Following up on our big updates announcement, we are so excited for our free, all-ages Storytime & Art session this Wednesday at 10:00 AM! 📚🎨

As we mentioned, we’ve combined the best of toddler storytimes and Books & Brushes into one inclusive, magical morning. We'll be singing joyful songs, moving our bodies, practicing mindful emotional regulation, and diving into open-ended process art.

When: Every Wednesday at 10:00 AM

Who: All ages are welcome for the summer!

Cost: Completely FREE with your standard Play Pass at The Wild & Wonderful Play Cafe.

🎄🍦 Christmas in July is coming to Wild and Wonderful Play Cafe ☀️✨

We are so incredibly excited to launch the first of our brand-new, immersive child enrichment events! Our mission is to bring families together, spark imagination, and create magical summer memories that will last a lifetime.

Kick off the summer fun with a whimsical holiday twist!

Here is what’s waiting for you and your little ones:
✨ A visit & professional vacation-themed photos with Santa!
✨ Whimsical themed storytime, sensory play, and art
✨ Bubbles, ice cream, and indoor/outdoor playtime
✨ A complementary festive, refreshing Christmas drink

Indoor spots are limited to keep the experience intimate and immersive, so grab your tickets early!

☀️Please Note: If indoor spots fill up, we still warmly invite the community to come hang out, enjoy the cafe, and grab some ice cream outdoors!

We are halfway through summer, and we are keeping the excitement flowing by bringing back FREE Storytimes every Wednesday for all ages for the rest of the season!

Along with our free storytimes, we have specially curated, immersive paid events for children and their families to enjoy.

We even have SANTA paying us a visit on the 19th for Christmas in July!

We are also hosting a very special PJ Storytime full of adventure and imaginative play to help settle little nervous systems before bed.

For the tiniest ones, we have Baby Hour Storytime twice this month (on the 10th and 31st), where I will guide you through the benefits of infant massage and demonstrate a few techniques to support your baby's development and well-being.

NEW OFFERING!! Think "paint night"—but make it family-friendly! 🎨✨ We’re bringing those creative adult paint night vibes to the bigger kids and their caregivers. Join us for a Family Paint & Sip, where you’ll paint a masterpiece together while enjoying a complimentary drink! Stay tuned—we’ll be revealing our featured painting very soon! 🖌️

This July, whether free or paid, our themes embrace the magic of summer, making memories and imagination. Through heartwarming stories, hands-on creativity, and playful discovery, our gatherings offer a space for all children and caregivers to connect and grow together.

I’ve loved creating and playing with you every week at Wild and Wonderful Play Cafe. Your feedback has made one thing beautifully clear: our Wednesday morning story times have a truly special place in your hearts.

To make these mornings as easy and accessible as possible, my weekly story time will once again be **fully included with your regular open play admission** starting this July! No extra ticket needed—just come play and join me for the books, music, movement, and hands-on process art you love.

💖 For families looking to dive a bit deeper, we are also introducing brand-new, monthly ✨Immersive Toddler and Big Kid Classes✨ I'll be packing these special premium sessions with enhanced sensory materials, deeply themed experiences, and extra activities to spark big imaginations and curiosity!

🌿✨ THE MAGIC BEGINS THIS WEEK! ✨🌿

Are you ready to turn summer reading into an adventure? Tomorrow, we are officially kicking off our Enchanted Summer Reading Program! 📖

We know that summer gets busy, and traditional reading logs with giant minute goals can feel a little intimidating. That’s why we’ve completely reimagined our program to make it joyful, cozy, and pressure-free for ages 0–10—with a touch of nostalgic magic!

🗺️ How the Adventure Works:

Instead of tracking hours, kids will follow a whimsical, winding path of 50 stepping stones that leads straight to a hidden Fairy Door. Along the way, they can branch off on fun "Side Quests" (like reading inside a cozy blanket fort or reading under a full moon) to earn a special fairy key!

🗝️ The Token & Key Exchange:

* Weekly Magic: Attend our weekly storytimes to receive a Golden Storytime Token!
* Unlock the Chest: Exchange 3 Gold Tokens for a Fairy Key.
* Claim Your Treasure: Each Fairy Key opens our Enchanted Treasure Chest, which is filled to the brim with age-appropriate prizes like art kits, small toys, nature trinkets, and more!

Parents, We Promise This is Completely Doable:
👉 50 books over an 8-week summer is about 6 books a week. For our littlest explorers, that’s just one cozy picture book before bed! For older readers, each stone can represent a short chapter or 20 minutes of independent/family reading. Once your reader colors their way to the very end of the trail, they'll unlock their final summer prize! 🗝️💎

🧭 A Note for Our Older Explorers (Ages 7–10):

Don't rush ahead to the finish line too fast! The secret to unlocking the most magic this summer is pacing your journey. By focusing on steady, daily reading rather than speeding through your trail all at once, you will earn way more weekly attendance tokens—which means way more fairy keys and extra chances to open the Enchanted Treasure Chest! Slow and steady wins the quest. 🐢✨
