Today, our Fun Committee shared a special historical photo collage with our employees, celebrating 28 years of memories, milestones, friendships, and community impact.

As we looked back through these photos, we were reminded that our story has always been about so much more than banking. It’s about the people who have dedicated their careers to serving others, the customers and shareholders who have placed their trust in us, and the communities we’ve proudly called home since 1998.

It’s been an award-winning week at Portage Community Bank!

Today, we are thrilled to celebrate Sara McCarty, Vice President, Commercial Lending, on being named the recipient of the 2026 Ohio Bankers League (OBL) Next Generation Leadership Award!

Sara was recognized at the OBL Next Gen Conference held this week at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, an honor that reflects her outstanding leadership, dedication to community banking, and commitment to the future of our industry.

In addition to receiving this prestigious award, Sara served as the Master of Ceremonies for the conference in her role as Board Chair of the OBL Next Generation Advisory Board, helping lead and inspire the next generation of banking professionals from across the state.

We are incredibly proud of Sara and deeply appreciative of the leadership, professionalism, exceptional service, and passion she brings to our team, our customers, and the banking industry every day. Her dedication and commitment makes a meaningful impact on those around her, and this recognition is truly well deserved. Please join us in congratulating Sara on this outstanding achievement!

It was a truly special evening as our Chief Executive Officer, Connie Bennett was honored with the Ravenna Area Chamber of Commerce Ravenna Ravens Lifetime Achievement Award.

Presented annually to individuals whose leadership, service, and dedication have made a lasting impact on our community, this award reflects exactly who Connie is. Her leadership and service have touched countless organizations throughout Portage County, helping to strengthen the communities we proudly call home.

Introduced by our Chief Operating Officer, Robert Standardi, and supported by many members of the PCB Team, PCB Board of Directors and her family, Connie was recognized not only for her professional accomplishments, but for the relationships she has built, the lives she has influenced, and the example she sets every day. Whether leading Portage Community Bank or giving back through community service, Connie’s integrity, compassion, and a genuine commitment to others make her so deserving of this honor.
