Biden Scraps Veterans’ Annual Memorial Day Motorcycle Parade Joe Biden has unceremoniously scrapped the 30-year-old annual Memorial Day motorcycle parade that is held in Washington, DC, to honor U.S. veterans.

Time for Christmas crafting! I made our stockings out of a piece of Mattelasse fabric and embellished them with burlap, silver pipe cleaner and an old broach for a bit of bling on mine.

Rick and I put this together on Sunday, I needed a little something to add to our front porch. I think he turned out cute😊 I was inspired by a friend who gave me the idea.

I bought this frame years ago at a garage sale for $3, it's a generous size, 28 1/2" x 24", and holds a 16" x 20" print. I had this Clara Waever cross stitch cloth for a long time, it was the perfect size for the frame, and even though it wasn't finished I loved the colors in it. I bought the cloth at a junk shop, it had only the original tag on it with the original price, I posted a pic of the price tag to show you what the original price was. I got it for $1! I'm trying to get projects done around here that should have been done a long time ago. I's also my quest to "simplify" my life a little bit. I'm always anxious when I have unfinished projects but I also have not had any motivation for "projects", until recently. I enjoyed refinishing my bookcase and so happy that I actually got it done! I got this frame refinished right along with the bookcase, so happy with how it turned out.
