An enormous thanks to all those who have been waiting patiently for me to open my books. I'm still diligently working 55+ hours a week to catch up and reschedule all those who had initiated projects before the shutdown. Welcome to Cross Keys
Jimmy Maria is the owner and sole employee of Cross Keys Tattoo studio in Reading, Pa. In 2012, he obtained two degrees in the visual arts from nearby Kutztown University and uses the foundational skills acquired during those studies to inform his tattooing practice, which began in 2011 at Lucky 13 Tattoos and Piercings.
During that time, he worked tirelessly to develop an aesthetic and was blessed to hone his craft alongside some amazing other artists and friends.
In 2016, Jimmy opened a private tattooing studio to maintain his discipline at the Goggleworks Center for the Arts, the home of Cross Keys. In this new space, he endeavored a space for tattooing unparalleled in not only the physical cleanliness and sterility necessitated in a tattoo shop, but also in comfort and professionalism. In addition to being “appointment only” to ensure that the customer has the Jimmy’s unadulterated attention, the exposed brick, polished hardwood floors, comfortable furniture and clean walls hung with compelling original artwork make for an environment curated for the purpose of inspiration and relaxation.
