Snow Geese!

Every year the snow geese stop to rest here in Pa from their +3k mile journey from the Arctic tundra through the US and even Mexico. Mostly stopping at Middle Creek WMA but might have a few stragglers in other areas.

I was able to capture these photos from a near by lake where 3 snow geese have stopped to rest with a giant flock of Canadian geese and a single swan.

What makes this even more remarkable, there was a “blue” goose! One female that has more grey in feathers and blue legs, a very uncommon type of snow goose!
