We hear this question quite a lot! Especially with the latest developments that all professions are facing now with the Covid19 pandemic.
The answer is not that simple though! While some professions might seem stressful, it’s all about the person who is doing the work, their lifestyle, and what is at stake! Meaning that; a doctor can be doing just fine regardless of the long hours and life or death situations they face on a daily basis if they manage to lead a healthy lifestyle once they are home where they rest, eat well, exercise, and socialize, while an HR executive can be overstressed regardless of the routine seemingly simple tasks she does if she works from home with 3 kids, 2 pets and a husband doing conference calls starting from 6 am!
The amount of personal stress tolerance level is different from one another so, in the end, it’s mostly about you & less about the Job actually!
P.S. If your job does not match your value system you for sure will be burnout.
