Note: you might want to turn the volume down a bit when watching this video as it got pretty loud at the end because we all got so excited.
From ASME opening social Fall 2017
We will be having a meeting tomorrow (Saturday May 27th) at 10 am in Austin 127. We will keep working on the foam airplane and tomorrow might be the day it flies.
There will also be a rocket launch tomorrow. The GPS coordinates for the launch is 43.820959, -112.156133.
The rocket will be launched at noon. We recommend you to plan on arriving on site 15 minutes early. If you would like to carpool, there will be cars that will be departing from Austin building at 11:15 am.
