Job Description
We're hiring!!! Aramis Drafter - OSP fiber design

Requirements:

- Candidate must have experience in Aramis- DT software

- 4 years Engineering degree or equivalent experience in the corresponding field

- AT&T fiber design experience is a plus

- Ability to plan and design projects with a little oversight

- Professional understanding of OSP planning, design, and construction methods

- Knowledge of fiber telecommunications networking

- OSP fielding and construction preferred but not required

- Ability to meet/exceed deadlines

Responsibilities :

-Design fiber cable placement plan in Aramis_DT for telecom construction. This includes cable placement, relocation, splicing, installation and maintenance of telecom networks

-Coordinate with customers, understand customer requirements, site survey/walk, design plan and profile.

We are Hiring!!! Field Surveyor - Telecommunications Professional

"AT&T ex-employee/retired with knowledge of circuits highly preferable " - It's full time position

Responsibilities and Duties

Make field visit, survey existing Telecom ( fiber and copper) layouts, measures distances, the right of way and surroundings to prepare for new design.Take field notes, hand sketches etc, identifying all conflicts in the right of ways, work with the city and TxDOT utility teams, OSP CAD design teams, and permit team for the projects.

Candidate should be able to read city provided civil construction prints, old record prints, and able to interpret the telecom relocation requirement plans. Should be able to coordinate and interface with customers, utility company personnel's for electric, gas, water, sewer, etc. conflicts. Attend all utility and project meetings as needed.

Experience: Minimum 2 year of site walk and survey. Telecom Lineman, OSP experience or telecom construction/engineering experience is preferred!!! Experience in google earth, KMZ files, other survey tools are preferred!
