As temperatures soar in the midst of summer, sometimes it’s best to get those miles and smiles after the sun goes down. That’s why we’re bringing you the Glow Ruck!

Our goal with each GORUCK Club Callout is to encourage you to do something that you might not normally do with your Ruck Club. All you have to do this month to earn your Callout Patches is hold one of your monthly rucks between the hours of sunset and sunrise, and outfit your crew with lightsticks and glow necklaces for safety...and fun! GORUCK has run overnight events since the beginning and there’s something special that happens when most people are headed home for the evening and you get the trails and the miles to yourself.

Meet in the back row of the Cali Saigon Parking lot (32.947663, -96.682430). We will be doing 5 miles on Duck Creek and Owens Trail. It is paved urban hike/bike with a few road crossings so even more reason to wear your glow items. You decide how much weight you carry in your ruck. I'll have a few extra chem lights to give out.
