Hello PITsters - we hope you are staying cool out there!
In the July issue of the PIT e-Traveler, we pause our discussion on archaeological field survey to say a very fond farewell to PIT's founder, Gordon Peters. Gordon began the PIT Program in 1988, and was involved with it until his recent passing on June 2nd, 2023. He will be missed! You, as PIT volunteers, helped his dream not only come true, but to grow and thrive; thank you so very much!
