All sunroofs leak, they are designed to. The trick is to keep the sunroof drains clean and flowing freely. Don't neglect those sunroof drains

The EA888 2.0T engine from VW / Audi group utilizes a timing chain rather than the timing belt of the earlier EA113 2.0T. The timing belt of the earlier engine required servicing every 100,000 miles. The timing chain of the newer engine is much more durable and seemingly only needs servicing every 120,000 miles. (yes, that last sentence is dripping with sarcasm). Thank you VW for ensuring we stay busy with timing chain jobs for years to come.
