Only two weeks until Side by Side!

This year, Side by Side will focus on a root tenet of the National Writing Project: Teacher as Writer. Part of the afternoon will discuss the philosophy behind this concept and how it benefits our students as well as our writerly selves. The rest of the afternoon will be a writing workshop, with time to write, share, and practice various skills.

This free event will be held on Saturday, March 21st on the campus of Oakland University from 1-4pm, and we can't wait to see you there!

Cost: Free! (Why? Because we just love teachers!)

What: An opportunity to learn, collaborate, and write with other teachers in a casual, comfortable setting. Includes multiple practical sessions from MBWP teachers.
