It is Fire Season in Southern California with mandatory evacuations in place. If you are working with a Merit Badge Counselor based here in LA County or even in San Diego County, please be mindful there are other more pressing concerns they are dealing with right now. Camp Josepho in Pacific Palisades is lost. They have dry and high winds of 80+ mph gusting and carrying embers everywhere.
