BBC Friends! We know a local community member and activist who is going to Ghana this summer and taking supplies for a community baby shower! If you have any of the following, please let us know if you'd like to pass these along before July 21st!
100-150 of the following:
Reusable/Disposable Postpartum Panties
Cloth Diapers (new or gently used)
Peri Bottles
Ice Packs (the kind you activate to use and the size that will heal the perineum)
Thermometers
Also, a big ask. If you have working or new solar powered head lamps that midwives could use AND you no longer need/want, those would be so helpful! We can also take financial contributions for these if anyone wants to donate. Please note, we are not a 501c3 so this would not be a tax free donation.
All donations can be brought to BBC next week during group meeting times, or let us know and we'll find a way to connect!
