A 23-year-old man on parole is charged with the murder of a cook outside of a bar on St. Paul Street early Saturday morning.

Alexavier Colon is accused of stabbing Kameron Nelson, 33, outside of The Mafia Hub. Police say Nelson intervened when he saw Colon fighting with his girlfriend.

Colon was released on parole on May 18 with an ankle monitor after serving a 3.5-year prison sentence on a gun charge. He was arrested in 2021 for shooting a man on Sullivan Street in Rochester.

Crash Saturday on the Thruway in Henrietta. Firefighters say a vehicle rolled multiple times, trapping three people including a baby in a car seat. Bystanders got the baby out. The other vehicle ended up in a farm field.

Four people were hurt in the crash. Fortunately, none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
