Hugo is a Future Leader Dog with Leader Dogs for the Blind. 🦮
This spring, his puppy raiser Ashley brought him to Webster Park for a golden hour session before he heads to formal guide dog training in August.
He is focused, food motivated, and absolutely lovable. Someone is going to be very lucky to have him by their side.

Last week I spent a full day with portrait photographer Pat Luke at his studio in Fairport, working through six advanced portrait lighting setups in the studio and on location.
Pat has been doing this for nearly 40 years and teaches the way the best mentors do. He shows you exactly what he's thinking and why. Every decision had a reason behind it.
This past year has been a lot of independent study. Last Friday felt different. Watching the light get built from scratch, asking questions, trying things I never would have on my own.
Grateful to Pat, to the models who brought each setup to life, and to the other photographers in the room, who made the learning richer. Already thinking about what comes next.

Sampson had the whole yard to himself and he made the most of it.
No leash, no strangers, no distractions. A backyard session means your dog gets to romp and relax in a space they actually know.
If your dog does better at home, your own backyard can make for beautiful portraits. Book a consultation through the link in my bio.

Annie came dressed for the occasion and completely camera-ready. A bandana is a fun and easy way to add a little something extra to your pet photos. 🐾🌸

It's official. I'm a Certified Professional Photographer.
I earned my CPP from the Professional Photographers of America — a credential held by only about 3% of photographers nationwide, and one of only a handful in the Rochester area.
Earning it required passing proctored exams across six modules and completing a practical evaluation scored against precise exposure, color, and technical criteria.
For clients, it means the technical foundation is solid every single time — not just on a good day.

Grateful to be part of the latest group recognized by PPA.

Meet Maverick.
Independent by definition. Gentle by nature.

Louis loves the snow more than any dog I’ve ever met. The deeper it gets, the happier he is.
Here in Rochester, the weather can turn on a dime. Bright and sunny one minute, snowy and blustery the next.
He is here for all of it. Different light, same joy.
