Best Friday Ever!!! Ended the week and kicked off Spring with smoked chicken and ribs! A HUGE THANK YOU to our friend, Willie Williams, for blessing us with delicious food and even better company! He has been such an encouraging addition to our team of volunteers at CK! He’s even teaching one of our Shorter students, Evan, how to use a smoker! God is good all the time!

Look at all of these beautiful people serving our neighbors! A huge THANK YOU to PEO Chapters E, J and AO for spending their afternoon preparing casseroles, making sandwiches, and baking cookies for our guests! They helped stock our freezers back in January, and we were able to serve the casseroles this month! What a blessing!

Today, on the 1-year anniversary of the accident that changed her life, Hannah Nabors spent the day “focusing on the joy of praise instead of the heartbreak from last year”. Along with three of her friends, she served food to our friends at Rome Community Kitchen. She focused on her blessings and loving others. Her example taught me a lot about the true power of gratitude, hope, grace, and forgiveness through the power of Jesus.
