Broken Devotion

I have found this to be true. It is especially true of the “fixers” in our lives. Words like “I’ve done all I can do” when all you needed was someone to sit with you. Very few people will do just that. It’s no wonder then why so many isolate themselves and/or self destruct in desperate attempts to put on that smile and fake healing for those around them. The pressure just gets to be too much. Grief does not follow a timeline. Just be where you need to be and allow yourself to truly heal. Jesus, be close to the broken hearted

Hey y’all,
It’s been a minute. The last time I posted anything personal, I don’t even remember what was going on in my life 😅 I believe that the last time I REALLY wrote, it was after our first miscarriage. We had 2 more after that one, and it all just sort of broke my brain there for a minute. Anyway, since I shared all of that with y’all, I thought I should also share that we welcomed our sweet baby, Charlotte (Charli) Monroe in late April 🥹 She is precious in every way and makes the perfect lil Caboose for her 5 siblings 😆
