Ron DeSantis and the state legislature have a potential solution: children. The state's legislature on Tuesday advanced a bill that would loosen child labor laws, allowing children as young as 14 years old to work overnight shifts. If the new law is passed, teenagers would be able to work overnight jobs on school days.
As a Children's nonprofit and as a parent. I'm 1000% against this.
Child labor will become slave labor, that will have immediate and long term negative effects on their lives.
