OPENING OCTOBER 1ST! The long awaited opening of the Delta Farmer's Market will take place on October 1st. A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 10:00 am on October 1st, featuring California Secretary of Agriculture, AG Kawamura, the Discover the Delta Foundation Board of Directors and Foundation President Ken Scheidegger. Also in attendance will be Supervisor Don Nottoli, Rio Vista Mayor and other local elected officials and dignitaries. The public is invited to watch the ribbon cutting ceremony. After the ribbon cutting, enjoy the live, crisp vocals & sounds of Gary's acoustic tracks. The market will be open following the ceremony.

On Saturday Oct. 2nd the Grand Opening celebration will kick off at 6:00 am with free gifts to the first 500 visitors. Our Delta's own favorite, Firestorm will be performing from 12 noon - 4pm.
