What's in Trinidad Cowheel Soup? 🇹🇹🥣

Cowheel soup is one of the Trinidad and Tobago's most comforting one-pot meals. The cowheel is cooked till tender, when it releases natural collagen, creating a rich, silky broth.
Then come the provisions: Yellow Potato, Sweet potato Cassava, Green fig (green banana) and Pumpkin. Fresh herbs and Caribbean seasonings enhances the soups taste.
Every spoonful is packed with hearty vegetables, deep flavor, and a taste of Trinidad and Tobago.

This is one of the two rotis we serve at The Trini Table. It's called Dhalpuri and it has seasoned yellow split peas in the middle. It can be enjoyed with your favorite curry meat and sides.
