The Co-Founders Jack GV Vang, Chentshenjzoon Xiong, Sou Supryze Vajncuabntxhoos, GY Yang, Jon Jon, & Lee Xiong started this as a group of musicians who wanted to create a space for us to collaborate. We asked ourselves, why not open this studio up to help other musicians too?
After years of making music, we learned a lot through trial and error. We wanted to share that knowledge and help the next generation of Hmong artists grow even further than we did.
As we met more artists, we noticed many had the talent but lacked support, guidance, and resources. Music was often seen as just a hobby, not a real career. But today, with streaming platforms, social media, live events, and more ways to earn income, it's more possible than ever to make music a sustainable career.
That's why we created Sound Scape Studio, to help Hmong artists turn their passion into something bigger.
And it's about more than just music. Every Hmong song helps keep our language and culture alive. Even younger generations who may not speak Hmong fluently still listen and sing along.
By supporting Hmong artists, we're helping preserve our language and culture for future generations.
Ethan Vang is a young aspiring Hmong-American artist! He loves singing in the genres of Pop and R&B. Be on the lookout for his cover of Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars.
At Sound Scape Studio we were able to help him hone his craft, track his vocals, mix & master, capture professional photos, and a create him lyric video! He's now on his journey to becoming an independent recording artist with guidance and support! He went from a bedroom singer to now a studio recording professional with clean mastered vocals.
