Everyone wants to be “lean”… until their hormones crash, energy disappears, recovery tanks, and they feel terrible all the time.

Body fat matters.
Too much is unhealthy.
Too little can be just as bad.

General healthy ranges:
Men:
- Essential: 2–5%
- Athletic: 6–13%
- Healthy average: 14–20%
- Obese: 25%+

Women:
- Essential: 10–13%
- Athletic: 14–20%
- Healthy average: 21–30%
- Obese: 32%+

When body fat gets TOO LOW:
- Hormones can crash
- Recovery suffers
- Libido drops
- Energy and mood decline
- Injuries increase
- Sleep worsens
- Women may lose menstrual cycles
- Muscle loss becomes easier

This is why very lean physiques are often temporary.
Looking shredded for a beach trip or bodybuilding show is one thing… sustaining that year-round while working hard, raising kids, training, and living life is another.

Your body NEEDS:
- Enough protein to repair tissue
- Carbohydrates for performance and recovery
- Healthy fats for hormones and brain health
- Micronutrients and minerals for recovery and metabolism

Now the other side…

Obesity comes with serious consequences:
- Insulin resistance
- Joint pain
- Fatty liver
- High blood pressure
- Poor mobility
- Chronic inflammation
- Increased risk of heart disease and diabetes
- Reduced quality of life

The goal is not starving yourself to look good for 6 weeks.
The goal is building a body that performs, recovers, thinks clearly, ages well, and still lets you enjoy life.

Healthy is the goal.
Strong is useful.
Sustainable wins long term.

If you couldn’t cook, would you volunteer to make a gourmet cake for your loved ones with zero experience? 🎂

Probably not… because you KNOW it would come out looking questionable.

So why do people walk into the gym trying to build a dump truck with random TikTok workouts and pure hope? 🍑😂

Years of:
❌ Guessing
❌ Doing random exercises
❌ “Feeling the burn” in literally everything except the glutes
❌ Wondering why nothing is growing

Listen…
You want to bake a great cake? You need a great chef. 👨🏻‍🍳

You want to build a FAT cake?

Coming back from injury, illness, burnout, or years of neglect takes more than motivation… it takes the right mindset, the right plan, and the right guidance.
