Become a U.S. Soccer Referee

Help Grow the Game in Our Community

The Monterey Condors Club is encouraging players, parents, coaches, and soccer supporters to help recruit the next generation of referees. If you know a friend, teammate, sibling, or family member who loves soccer, now is the perfect time to become a certified U.S. Soccer referee.

By completing one of the local entry-level referee courses, new referees will be eligible to officiate matches for the remainder of the 2026 season and throughout 2027 before renewing their certification for 2028.

Santa Cruz

Date: Saturday, July 25
Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Location: New Brighton Middle School

Salinas

Date: Monday, July 27
Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Salinas Regional Soccer Complex

Register for one of the local referee courses through the U.S. Soccer Learning Center. Additional courses are available throughout California if these dates do not fit your schedule.

The Fall season is our busiest time of the year, and we need all certified referees on the field. If you have not yet renewed your certification for the 2026/27 registration year, log in to your U.S. Soccer Learning Center account and complete your renewal today.
