NIPA has always been there to support LGBTQIA+ North Idahoans.

This years Pride in the park celebration was different though.

The smiles of our community members still shined light at the event. Music still embraced our hearts. Many still found their home at the event.

The difference this year was a targeted attack on our celebration. Starting with a local Legislature, continuing to a local extremist group, and sounding the call to extremist across the nation.

They stood with guns and Body armor. They traveled in the back of a Uhaul intending to riot.

Where was NIPA? They were at the event. Guarding our community. All while the celebration continued. After the event they began to work day in and day out for our Local LGBTQIA+ community. Which has a ripple effect that combats extremism at Large.

Your donation helps them to continue their work, and be a safe-haven for LGBTQIA+ individuals in North Idaho.

Lastly, i saw something on their website last night that got me more excited that I probably Should have.

This organization has been a key part of my self-acceptance and understanding.

While I've never met or got a hug from them, seeing their platform and the moms that put theirselves out there for q***r individuals made me feel not so alone.

Now, they have gathered what was needed to get Education back on the ballot!
