Belated thanks to Fleet 42 out of Selby Bay on the South River for putting on the Capitol Districts a few weeks back. The regatta had been delayed several times due to weather, and in the end we were only able to get one and a half races in due to increasing winds, but the racing was fast and furious in the whitecaps, and we (6097) managed to pull off a third place out of a pretty tough crowd. Mark Vieno came out of semi-retirement to crew for me and acquitted himself and Fleet 6 with great aplomb. Highly recommended regatta for those looking for a late Fall regatta in the DC area.
