🖌️These bottles can be customized for any occasion, whether it’s a birthday, holiday, or special event! You choose the bottle, designs and/or words!🎨

🖌️For my testers (pictured), I grabbed a few of my favorite TJ’s bottles and customized them to fit a springy floral theme and a cozy autumn theme!🍁

🖌️I just finished a commission for a vinyl flag for a kids’ tennis team and I absolutely love the way it turned out!🎾

🖌️When I was approached for this sign, I really wanted something with grommets that could potentially withstand weather outside during a match. I decided to try something new!🏅

🖌️This vinyl behaves differently than other materials I’ve worked with previously, so there was a bit of a learning curve.🌀

🖌️I really enjoy painting on new materials and trying out different methods to expand my repertoire!🎨

🖌️Sorry for being MIA the past few weeks, been working my day job a whole bunch-and doing a sign revamp there as well!🪴

🖌️Chalkboard art is my absolute favorite, it brings me back to my TJs days!🛒

🖌️This project has been so fun!! Getting a lot of practice with font and color matching to really bring the whole store together.🎀

🖌️Good morning, friends! Here are some up-close pics of my newest pieces!🌈🖍️

🖌️The first sign was a commission from a 3rd grade teacher. She gave me the phrasing but said she didn’t have color or design preference so I got to play around with it!📄

🖌️I tossed some ideas around for a bit but decided on a blue toned color palette with the designs being more rainbow!🪻

🖌️I thought about the elements I wanted to include for a while and ultimately decided on them when I had the words and spacing down! I absolutely love how it came out!!📚

🖌️The second piece was a commission for the owner of a private school- also for back to school season! They had a Wizard of Oz theme this year and requested the specific phrasing as well as some elements to go with that theme!🌱

🖌️I had a vision for this sign almost immediately-the yellow brick road leading to the emerald city! I made two versions of my mockup and sent them over for them to make the final choice. Then it was time to start!✨

🖌️I got the larger elements/colors laid out first before adding details such as the bricks on the road and adding sparkles to the letters (reminiscent of the ruby slippers!)👠

🖌️I loved working on these signs! Stay tuned for some exciting things coming, hopefully when this rain slows down! Any guesses as to why that may be?🌧️🤔

🖌️THE ARTISTIC PROCESS & What I’ve Made This Week!🌈

🖌️STEP 1: PLANNING📏
A crucial step to get the design, colors, and font worked out before starting. Also great for making sure the client likes the vision if it’s a larger piece!🖼️

🖌️ The planning step is different for every sign. If the piece is very drawing-heavy, I’ll use procreate to make sure the design looks right! If the piece is more word-heavy, I’ll pop into canva and space out where my elements will go.⚖️

🖌️STEP 2: BASIC ELEMENTS🎨
This is where I put the major shapes and/or words where they need to be. Lots of tedious measuring to make sure the spacing looks good!📐

🖌️I also shoo away any kitties that get a little too excited to know what I’m doing on the floor. They enjoy this step.🐈‍⬛

🖌️STEP 3: DETAILS🎀
The piece starts coming together here! I add any highlights/shadows or smaller bits that make the sign really come to life.🫟

🖌️During this step I’ll change up where I’m working to make sure I view the sign from all angles. I do this to look for any weird spaces or see if anything needs to be added to make the sign look complete and cohesive!👩🏻‍🎨

🖌️STEP 4: DELIVERY!🎁
I had a great time working on these back-to-school pieces and I think they look so lovely in their new homes!!🖍️

🖌️Hi friends!! Thought I’d give a little update on what I’ve been up to the last few weeks!🌞

🖌️We are settling in nicely to our new home in Sandy Springs!! The area is perfect for us and we love being close to family.💞

🖌️I just celebrated a birthday! I had a great time with friends and family, plus I received the most thoughtful gift from my sweet sister- a vintage art smock she customized for me!🎨

🖌️I also started a new job! I’m an instructor at a craft & sip studio and I absolutely love it. Come visit me at The Sipping Plant!🥂

🖌️I’ve been working on some custom commissions as well- I will share those as soon as they’re finished but trust that they’re looking amazing so far!! 🪧
