Immense gratitude to everyone who came out last night to our final Summer Series event. It has been a great honor to work collaboratively with the to bring our visions of blending art, history, and community to life. We look forward to continuing to be in community with you all and act upon our mission which is to empower and inspire collective community. β¨
The theme of the event last night was Better Together: Healing in Community and we were able to do just that. Local realtor / artist (.from.dennis) led us through a guided paint and sip art lesson where we all did our best to paint different animals coming to gather and replenish themselves at the same watering hole. Dennis chose this image because he felt that this image of different animals coming together as a community to replenish their souls by drinking from the same body of water embodied our theme of healing together in community.
Our mission is to inspire and empower collective community here in Santa Cruz and beyond.
Letβs work together!

We will be raising funds for Campesino Appreciation Caravan] and local farmworkers throughout the whole month of September. Our collective goal is to fundraise 50 gift cards at $50 each to go to local heroes/ community members. Donations can be made via Venmo .
Our farm workers continue to work tirelessly through a pandemic, fires, and natural disasters. Many farmworkers did not receive or qualify for stimulus checks and are unable to receive financial assistance. Thatβs where community comes in and organizations like Campesino Appreciation Caravan] help to fill the gaps.
