Koa is a Cane Corso who hasn’t had a lot of experience being around other dogs, so this was a big step for him. And guess what? He did GREAT! 💛
One of the many benefits of structured pack walks is helping dogs learn how to exist calmly around one another without feeling the need to interact, react, or make every dog they see their new best friend 😅
Confidence, neutrality, and good decision-making are all built through experiences like these.

Let’s talk about Littermate Syndrome.
Littermate Syndrome can occur when two puppies are raised together and become overly dependent on one another. Instead of building confidence independently, they may struggle when separated and often become more focused on each other than their humans.
Some common signs include:
🐕 Extreme distress when separated
🐕 Difficulty focusing during training
🐕 Lack of confidence when alone
🐕 Increased reactivity or anxiety
🐕 One puppy becoming overly dependent on the other
The good news? It can often be prevented!
✔️ Train them separately
✔️ Walk them separately
✔️ Spend one-on-one time with each puppy
✔️ Encourage independence and confidence
