Our Story
RECOURSE is Sonoma County’s oldest and largest trusted community-based nonprofit organization providing our wonderful residents with the means for identifying, expressing, and peacefully resolving conflict in a safe environment. We do this through a variety of conflict resolution skills training programs and by conducting mediation for people in conflict in the community. We work both privately in our beautifully serene offices as well as directly in our local court system. Our mediators are highly skilled, trained, and compassionate. They work hard to facilitate respectful and productive communication allowing parties to get un-stuck from even the most challenging conflicts.
